What’s Come Over Me

Every week I’ll be sharing a song here in my blog. A little warning though, you may find some of them to be mushy or cheesy, especially those OPM classics with really deep Tagalog words (I may not even know the meaning of some of them). I don’t know but I’m just amazed by the lyrics of Tagalog songs. I really love our language… imagine how one word in english can have a thousand different meanings in our Tagalog or Filipino. I’ll also be posting english songs, of course.

This is the first song that I’m going to share with you. The very first time I heard this, it was being sung by Monique Wilson, I think it was on the TV show Ryan Ryan Musikahan (I loved that show). I was still in high school then and there was no internet yet that time and it took me awhile to find out the title of the song and that the original version was by Kuh Ledesma and Richard Tann. I really like the melody and the lyrics of this one and hope you’ll like it too.
