i’m so happy today

I talked to my best friend, Jing, and she told me that she got her green card so she can now come home for vacation! I’m so happy for her and happy for me too cause I’ll be finally seeing her, I miss her so much!

So, she’s planning to come home February or June next year. She was undecided, She wanted to come February because that’s the best time for trips to beaches but she also wanted June because Dahl’s coming home that month. I suggested she come home June so we could all be together (the more the many-er haha!) and because most probably rainy season will be late anyway like this year.

We’re planning to go to Coron in Palawan and Boracay so I’m doing my assignment and trying to come up with an itinerary. And I’m thinking that I really need to buy a camera now! I really want the Nikon D40x and I haven’t decided yet if I’m gonna buy it here or if I’ll ask my cousin to buy it for me in the US. Problem with that is if nobody’s coming home next year then I won’t get my camera until somebody does. And I can’t ask Jing to bring it home because I want to familiarize myself with it before we go on our trips. And I’m only halfway on my budget for the camera so I really have to start saving up!

I’m really excited to go to Coron… so far what I have in the itinerary is a one day island hopping which includes stops to Barracuda Lake and Cayangan Lake, then a one day tour to Calauit Wildlife Safari (travel time alone is 4 to 6 hours), then maybe we can plan a tour of Culion Island (the old leper community).

For Boracay, I don’t think we need an itinerary there. I’ll just look for other fun things to do there aside from swimming and partying.

Now I have to really get in shape especially since the trip to the lakes will require a bit of uphill trekking and I’m not really in shape for that right now. I also have to practice and photography. Can’t wait! :)
