We have Halloween Trick-or-Treat event in our village for a about three years and this year we didn’t participate because, well they held it yesterday, the 30th, which wasn’t a holiday so no one will take care of giving the kids the treats. Anyway, we wouldn’t want the kids to miss out on all the fun so we took them trick or treating earlier today at The Block. We didn’t buy costumes this year because the kids didn’t want to wear one. So we just dressed them up nicely and bought those little devil horns with lights. It was fast, I think they were done trick or treating in about an hour and they didn’t get much treats but they were really happy. After that, we just ate dinner at Aristocrat (my older nephew really likes their chicken barbecue) then headed home. It was really tiring but it was fun! Next year, my sister promised to be more prepared and I’m really looking forward to it.
