something funny

Published by B under Forgotten

A few weeks ago, my sister cleaned their playroom and removed some of their toys. Some will be given to their nanny’s kid and some will be donated to Jollibee’s toy drive. So one time, I tried explaining to my niece that their mom will get rid of some of their toys.

Me: Ariz, we will be giving some of your toys to Jollibee so that Jollibee can give it to the poor kids.

Ariz (talking to her mom): Mom, we will be giving our toys to Jollibee so Jollibee can give it to the other kids who doesn’t have toys.

Me: Yeah, Jollibee will give it to the kids who doesn’t have money to buy toys.

Ariz: How about us? We don’t have money to buy toys!

My sister and I started laughing. Ariz remembered that we sometimes tell them that we don’t have money to buy toys when they want something expensive or when they want to buy something unnecessary. It was really funny! We just tell them that we don’t have money and they’ll understand already. Those kids are really smart for their age!

I Will Still Love You

Published by B under Song for the week

by Stonebolt

Love ‘em and leave ‘em, give them the air
Hurt and deceive them, say you don’t care
Break their hearts and let them fall
Like rain on your back stairs
Then call me up tomorrow
You know I’ll still be there

When the moon disappears forever
And the sun shines electric blue
And the mountains and trees tumble into the sea
To rest there for eternity
No matter what you do I will still love you

So if all your bridges go up in flames
And if all your lovers strike you to tame
Or some sad song of love you hear
Can make you call my name
I will be there in a minute
And you know I’ll feel the same

When the moon disappears forever
And the sun shines electric blue
And the mountains and trees tumble into the sea
To rest there for eternity
No matter what you do I will still love you

So the weary traveler, tired of passing through
Stops to get his bearings and stays on to wait for you

When the moon disappears forever
And the sun shines electric blue
And the mountains and trees tumble into the sea
To rest there for eternity
No matter what you do I will still love you
I will still love you

——————–

I LOVE this song! I love it since the first time I heard it. I was in high school then. Then I waited for it to be played again on the radio (which wasn’t often because it was already old) and recorded on a cassette tape. Then I looked for it on record bars but never found it. Thank God for technology, I was able to download it through the internet!

I just love the lyrics and the melody. This song makes me cry every time I listen to it. This is how I imagine I would be when I fall in love with the “right” person. I had fallen in love, once, before but we were already through before our “relationship” even started. My world evolved around him and everything I do was because and was for him (my next SOTW would be something about him). So I can almost imagine how I would be if I would fall in love with someone who would also love me. Every line in the song would be true for that someone. :)

scrap-for-hire

Published by B under Sari-sari

I’ve been planning to do scrap-for-hire or scrap-for-others for sometime now. But I really need to plan it carefully for I’m really not sure if it’ll work out or not. One thing I have to plan is the buying of digital scrapbooking kits, like should I buy when there’s a sale even though I’m not yet going to use it or not.

How I wish I have some extra money to do this or I could easily apply for a business loan to finance this small business that I’m planning. But here in the Philippines I’m guessing that it’ll be hard to apply for a loan. How I wish we have companies like EZUnsecured.com which specializes in aiding small business owners attain the capital they need to start their business. Using EZUnsecured.com is a very easy process with fast funding. What they do is they help you avoid problems you might encounter when applying to lenders all by yourself. This is very convenient, time-saver and definitely great service.

If only EZUnsecured.com is available here in the Philippines then everything will be better. Oh well, I guess I really have to make it on my own.

digital scrapbooking day and some updates

Published by B under Forgotten

Well I’ve been itching to buy a couple of grab bags over at TheDigiChick but haven’t really seen much of the other one yet so I’m still hanging on. Plus, DSD is coming up so I’m gonna see first if there’s something I’d like to buy before I splurge on grab bags. And I’m also going to buy a couple of essentials first before I buy those tempting grab bags. I have very limited budget because I’m still saving up for my camera and since my PayPal mishap I still haven’t used my credit card when purchasing through PP, instead I used my available balance from blogging.

Hay buhay! Ang hirap talaga pag walang pera no? How I wish I could spend like $100 just on digital scrapbooking kits! Now that would really make me happy! Haha!

I do have about four or five projects in line but the money I’m going to earn from it, well I’m going to give some to my mom to pay household bills and I’m going to save some for the camera again. I’m also planning to buy some accessories that’s why I need to save a lot!

Last week, we went to Quiapo. Wala lang… I didn’t have anything to be printed, just went there to look for DVDs. I ended up buying 18. I know I’m bad but I couldn’t resist it. Imagine 3 for 100! And I’m a suki to someone there that’s why it’s so cheap. Normally, one would cost 50, but I buy it without the case and I’m his suki that’s why he gives it to me 3 for 100. So far I’ve only watched 3 out of 18, Ouija, Wind Chill and A Mighty Heart. And so far I liked all three.
