Mango Bravo

My BIL, niece, nephews and I fetched my mom and my sister at the Triangle North Mall today. (Yes, Triangle North Mall is Trinoma… natuwa lang ako when I found out what Trinoma stands for and I felt the need to use it sometime. LOL!) We didn’t go down anymore, we just waited inside the car because we were all wearing pambahay. And while waiting for them to arrive, my BIL decided to buy Conti’s famous Mango Bravo cake. We even forgot what it’s called and had to ask for their “bestseller cake that’s mango flavored” haha! It was actually our first time to buy the whole cake to be brought home. Buying that cake was like an adventure… hahaha. The cake had a two-hour travel time. It is available in two sizes and we bought the large one without thinking that it has to be stored in the freezer. It was so big that it was puzzling how we would let it fit inside the freezer. But it tastes good. It is a bit like sansrival except that the it is a bit more spongy than crunchy. And what I really like about it is it’s not too sweet, so you can finish a whole slice without thinking so much of diabetes and you won’t actually feel too thirsty after finishing the whole slice. Haha! One slice is so huge… it’s like you’re eating two slices of a regular-sized cake. So there you go… my Mango Bravo adventure. :)

Hi Buge, the first time I tasted Mango Bravo was in Contis at Serendra Branch and I’m very happy when I found out that they have opened a branch in Trinoma. I love that cake too. Actually I always crave for it heheheh!!!

By the way, I’ve read from other blog that TRINOMA stands for Triangle North of Makati. How did you find out the meaning of it?
