Good Deed
I did a good deed last week and I’m glad I did. I have this old office-friend and he’s doing this car project. He is restoring his dad’s old car and he has this tattered notebook where takes notes of every detail about the project. He also keeps all the receipts, calling cards, all the paperworks tucked inside the notebook. I immediately thought of my Moleskines. I have a couple of the sketchbooks, one I bought and the other was from Aggie. I still haven’t used both so I thought I’d just give one to my friend. It’ll be perfect for his project because it has an elastic band which can keep the receipts, etc intact and it also has pocket where he can jeep other things. Plus, he’s also an artist and I know he loves to sketch sometimes so it is really perfect for him. Anyway, I sent it to him already and he called to say thanks. I know it’s really nothing big, not like a plane ticket to orlando vacations, but he sounded really happy when he called which made me happy too. I’m really glad I did this.
By the way, this friend is not him, in case some of you are wondering. Ha! This guy is just an ex-officemate that I’m really fond of. We haven’t seen each other in ages but to me he’s like the brother I never had.
