My baby Bailey is not doing well. He is only 3 months old and he chews on everything. Unfortunately, he ate some stuff he shouldn’t which caused an obstruction in his intestine. He wouldn’t eat, he throws up and had diarrhea. I really got worried and took him to the vet in out village. The vet didn’t help, I’m not sure if she was even a certified one. She couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong and just put him on IV for a couple days. He didn’t get any better. So, today I’ve decided to take him to another vet., Doc Honey. She immediately knew what was wrong with Bailey but she still took some blood test just to be certain it wasn’t parvo virus. She gave him some shots to help ease his stomach cramps and reduce the acid. He immediately got better and he ate some as soon as we got home. I feel so relieved although I still have to give him electrolyte drink constantly because he still hasn’t got his appetite back. But at least he is getting better little by little. Thank goodness!
Tomorrow, my dad and I are going to the hardware store to buy some stuff for his playpen. We have to replace the twire we used to hold it together with metal clamps. That way even if he chews on it, he won’t get anything he can eat. And I hope he will get better real soon. It really breaks my heart seeing him sad and suffering.
