Here’s an oldie. It’s a little sad but not enough to make you cry just by listening to it. I haven’t heard this for a long time and I kinda miss singing it. This is Somebody Waiting by Karen Wyman. I tried to search more about Karen but haven’t found nay official site or fanpage. And I’ve some comments on her CD product page on Amazon.com asking her for a comeback. I’d love to see that… I love classics!
SOMEBODY WAITING
Karen Wyman
I’ve kept you in my heart and every hour that we’re apart
The tears I’ve shown rolled into years alone
Alone, I’ve come to be somebody waiting
Promise me as you travel each mile
You’ll think of me every once in a while
I feel the sunshine in the warmth of your smile
Til then remember me somebody waiting
Without you nights are long, no one to sing my bedtime song
The times I’ve known counting the starts alone
Alone, I’ve come to be somebody waiting
Promise me as you travel each mile
You’ll think of me every once in a while
I feel the sunshine in the warmth of your smile
Til then remember me somebody waiting
