Last week I attended my kumpare’s (Mico) birthday party at his house in Sta. Ana. I think I’ve only been there twice and this was the first time that I went there by myself. I just took a cab and I was pretty lucky because the cab driver where it was and he knew how to avoid the traffic. When I got there Mico already mixed me my drink which is whisky and soda. Haha! They were asking me where AA was because maybe they were expecting we’d go there together. Even AA’s bro asked me where his kuya was. After awhile, AA arrived already and the fun already started.

It was a night filled with talks about basketball, UAAP and NCAA in particular, and a night of kulitan. AA and I moved to the table where Chino, Mico’s bro, and his friends were seated. I got to know Chino more and he is a very bolero kid, I’m telling you. He said I looked younger than my age… I looked more like a 26-year old daw. Haha!

Now, everybody there refers to AA as idol but after hearing my drunk tales, Chino told AA that he’ll call me idol instead of AA. And he now calls AA idolize. Haha! Chino is about 11 years younger than us and I think we’ve been together twice only. Nakakatuwa siya, and he’s also makulet like his bro. And he’s the one who served us beer all night! Haha!

Of course, Mico’s cousin, PJ, was also there and he said he missed me and AA! Haha! Namiss niya ko asarin! Whenever he sees me, he tells this story that I threw up in my inaanak’s christening party, which I didn’t. AA said nangungulet lang daw si PJ. But he wouldn’t leave me alone everytime! Kulet talaga! Sabi ko nga next time siya na susukahan ko! Haha!

I didn’t get drunk that night… well, only a little, but I wasn’t wrecked. But I still crashed AA’s room because I didn’t want him to drive me all the way to my house anymore. We just bummed in his room the next day and I went home around 3pm. It was fun and I’m glad I went.

I forgot to mention that I lost my earrings in AA’s bro’s house. That pair was very dear to me because it was given by my friend Che. I know I lost one in the bathroom and then I took off the other one but couldn’t remember where I put it. The next day, AA’s bro gave me one piece but he couldn’t find the other one. So, I put it in my pocket and when I got home, it’s not there anymore. Hay buhay…

Anyway, on another story… I feel like AA and his bro conspired against me. Haha! It’s like “Ok, I’ll take her pictures and then you post it on the net.” Mind you, it’s not nude photos. Hahaha! AA took my pic when I was throwing up and then the other day, I checked my friendster account and saw that his bro added me to his friends’ list. Then when I checked his profile, I saw he posted all the photos from the party including all my solo drunk photos. Haha! Tama ba naman yon? But it’s okay because I’ll be posting them anyway. Haha!

Wednesday after lunch I left going to AA’s place but before I could step out of the house it started raining. Parang ayaw akong paalisin eh no? And as much as I hated it, I was forced to bring an umbrella. My sister said it was raining hard in Makati daw and super traffic so I just took the MRT. I got off Magallanes station and naligaw pa ko pababa ng MRT. Haha! Stupid! And of course it was still raining so I used na my umbrella. Siempre nabasa pa din ako kahit may payong na ko. I took a cab na lang going to AA’s house. When I got there para kong basang sisiw. Haha! Kawawa naman ako. Pero okay lang, hindi naman basa clothes ko, just my hair and arms and feet and slippers. I washed my slippers first kse puro buhangin, I don’t even know where I got it, then I dried my hair. After about 30 minutes, AA and I transferred na to the next house where his brother was staying. Inayos na nila yung place kung san yung inuman and his brother was cooking food. He cooked sisig, yellow fin tuna in coconut milk, fried tofu and calamares. Then we started drinking na. We had Brandy… meron ding vodka and Black Label and San Mig Light but I drank the brandy na lang… at least tested ko na yon, ibang brand nga lang. We used to love Fundador wala kseng hangover but that night we had Gran Matador. Haha! It wsa my first time to drink Gran Matador and AA was the one fixing my drink, he mixed it with soda, and automatic naman, when he sees my cup is empty he’d fix me another one. Haha! So anyway, people started arriving… my gosh puro boys nga. Haha! DocMR wasn’t able to drop by because he still was on duty that night, but Mico came and I was really glad to see him! He’s my kumpare and the last time I saw him was last July pa ata, sa birthday ng inaanak ko and as always laseng na naman ako. Kwentuhan lang, about work and basketball and Manny Pacquiao. Then AA would introduce me whenever may dadating, he’d give a little background about them, ganon lang. Para siyang may alaga, he’d fix my drink, ask me to eat, he’d accompany me to the bathroom whenever I had to pee or ask his brother or his cousin to watch me. Haha!

Siempre the night wouldn’t be complete without him starting a fight or an argument with me. Mico kse wanted to talk to me so I transferred to the seat beside him. So yon, we talked… he asked me if he’s the reason why hindi ako nagsasasama sa barkada. I assured him it wasn’t him and besides baket naman magiging siya eh hindi nga kami parating nagkikita or nagkakausap. Then ayon na… nagtatampo daw siya sa kin and he wasn’t very clear why. So anyway, we patched things up by drinking. Haha! And he made me drink with the guy beside me… I can’t even remember who it was. Haha! And that did it! Pina-straight niya sa kin yung isang glass and after that I went inside the house na to throw up. AA stayed with me first to make sure that I was okay. He gave me a bin where I could throw up and he asked his cousin Tetet to look after me. After a while I went out na din. Caloy was there and Mico went home already. Caloy is a friend of AA’s na officemate ni Mico. They were talking about him earlier lang kse makulit daw. Anyway, I just said hi to him and then I stood up again kse I still wanted to throw up. I stayed na lang outside the door and AA gave me another bin. Then after a few minutes he washed my hand na and bumalik na kami sa table. I stopped drinking na and just asked for water and some ice chips. Dun niya na ko inaway… he wanted me to go to sleep na and I explained to him na hindi muna because I knew that as soon as humiga ako, magto-throw up lang ako. So pinapababa ko muna yung tama ko and still waiting kung magto-throw up pa ko. Good thing naman hindi na and when we went to bed diretso na yung tulog ko.

The next day when AA woke up, pinagtatawanan na naman niya ko. Buti na lang daw hindi niya sinabi sa tropa niya na malakas akong uminom kse mapapahiya daw siya. He didn’t count how many glasses I had but inisip niya and sabi niya nasa third bottle na daw nung nag throw up ako sa madami nga daw na yon. Wala lang andon lang kami sa room niya, kwentuhan and watched a lot of tv. Most of the time tulog kami. Basta he let me rest lang. Tapos kinwento pa niya na I called Cielo pa daw, hindi ko na maalala sobra. Then around 4pm I decided to go home na. Hindi niya ko mahahatid because meron siyang commitments for that day. I forced myself to go home na kahit super tamad pa ko because I didn’t want to stay there anymore kse kakahiya. Yeah, I’m shy pa ng lagay na yan! Haha! Hinatid niya ko dun sa sakayan ng bus near EDSA and he waited na makasakay ako and asked me to let him know if I was home na. Around 5 pm nag-text siya asking me kung asan na ko… naka-reply ako mga 6pm na, I forgot to text him. Haha! He said he received na daw yung scrapbook page niya. I had it printed in Digiprint and sent it to his house. He like it and I’m glad!

So that’s it… another one of my drunk tales. Haha! Sabi nga ni AA at least daw naa-achieve ko yung goal ko na maging wreck pag umiinom. Korek! What’s the use of drinking kung hindi ako wreck and not having fun! According nga to DA “Live for the moment.” Haha! And I also already figured out why I threw up… I thought I ate lunch that day, yun pala yung day before yung naiisip ko. So it’s not really gross kse puro water lang yung tino-throw up ko. I’ll be posting the pics in a bit… just don’t be confused with the labels. AA kse is the real name of his brother, I don’t post his real name here sa blog cause someone might google it. Haha! And speaking of pictures… natawa ko kse everytime I take this picture Mico and AA would tell me wag daw ako mag-smile kse ako yung nagpi-picture. Eh I couldn’t help it, they’re all smiling at me. Haha!

Last Saturday was Ading’s birthday party. AA and I were supposed to meet in Galleria at 8pm and he was late. I texted him around 7:30 pm to ask where I would wait for him and he didn’t respond. It was already 8 pm and he still wasn’t responding… I got a little worried so I called him at home. His mom answered the phone and said he left the house around 2pm and when I asked if she knew where he went, she said “secret.” Haha! Then I called MC and asked if he knew where AA was and he said AA told him he’d meet me in Galleria and thought he was already there. Sus! Yun pala his phone was on silent mode and he didn’t hear it when I called. So he arrived around 8:20 then we went to Ading’s party in Valle Verde 3. G and Gari were already there, I introduced him to them and inuman na! There was a mini bar and they were serving shooters in different colors, what exactly were there in those drinks I never knew. Haha! we started drinking draft beer and after a while I started going to the bar to get some shooters and brought it back to our table. AA and Gari tasted some and described it as Albatross and all the other air fresheners, meron pang My Shaldan and Aqua Net. Haha! Of course they were just trying to gross me out but it wasn’t effective. The shots actually tasted good and most of it, you wouldn’t even taste the alcohol in it. Sobrang halo-halo ininom ko, all I could remember were tequilla, vodka and lambanog… and of course my ever reliable SMB draft beer. There was this brown thing pa that looked like chocolate and they made me drink a tequilla slammer and one flaming shot. And the bartenders were nice, they were patient enough and kept repeating their concoctions because I’d ask them over and over and kept forgetting. Haha!

Ading was so funny. She kept singing and would call people on the mic and say different funny comments like “B, o upo ka lang dyan” and meron pang one time “AA, you look bored. B kiss mo muna!” Haha! Kakahiya! Para siyang nagro-roll call and nobody dared sing on the mic except her and a few close friends who didn’t show their faces while singing. And after awhile don na ko sa bar umiinom. The bartenders would give me different kinds of shooters and there’s this girl named Richie, nilalaseng yata ako… pa-shot ng pa-shot pero once lang niya ko sinabayan. Haha! Funny thing was AA knew how much shooters I had… he counted it and he was able to even if I was way over to the bar and he’s on our table. I had daw at least 30 shooters. And when they were already closing the bar, the waiters were transferring the leftovers in glasses and I drank pa daw one whole glass, I don’t know which one or what flavor, hindi ko na siya actually naalala. Basta alam ko lang I spent too much time on the bar. Haha! Kaya ayon laseng.

We were the last ones to leave the party, kwentuhan muna with Ading, a little senti but it was still fun. I missed those guys sobra! And then AA and I went home. The next day, when AA woke up he saw my clothes from the night before scattered on the floor. He laughed at me and said pati clothes ko laseng. Haha! Then he had to leave early because his brother would be attending a wedding and he’s going to use the car. I walked him to his car and that’s when he told me how much shooters I had. Natawa talaga ko kse binibilang niya!

I hope this time I’ll be able to post photos. I don’t have photos when DA and I met last month. I didn’t bring my camera then and he lost his camera in the airport. Sayang! But this time I asked Ading to send me hi-res copies of the photos so hopefully I’ll be able to share them with you.

On Wednesday, I’ll be going to AA’s house for his birthday. I’ll help him prepare the food so I’d be there early, after lunch siguro. And of course sleepover ako because malamang senglot na naman ako. Haha! Medyo shy lang ako because I think I’ll be the only one from our barkada who will be there and the rest will be AA’s friends from their village, lahat sila puro boys. Okay lang, I think they’d seen me drunk na din mga twice or three times. Haha! I hope pumunta din si DocMR.

The text message that started it all… “Tara! Let’s do something fun!” That’s what I told him and he suggested a couple of activities and we agreed on one. AA and I were supposed to meet two Fridays ago but it didn’t push through because he had a slight vehicular accident so we had to postpone our meeting. We were supposed to meet again last Friday but my Ate Jovie was spending the night at our house so I had to cancel it again because we had no place to stay. Anyway, my mind was restless and I sent him a text message again saying that I don’t usually admit that I’m weak but I did admit it to myself that time and I’m scared and told him I needed someone to be strong for me. I think that bothered him and told me that if I’m not going to MC’s place on Saturday for poker night then he’ll drop by my place on Sunday night. And he did.

So waht happened? We just TV and was about to go to sleep already when I told him na tara let’s do na that something fun. Haha! What was it? Secret! But I’ve gone up to heaven that night. Haha! But I think I pissed him off… he was waiting for me to tell a story… what’s making me weak and I didn’t. Kinulit ko lang siya ng kinulet and I think naiinis siya.

Monday, I was still bored and suggeted we drink Red Horse that night. He wanted us to go out so we just went to MC’s place and it took me a while before I finally decided to go with him. It was an eventful evening. Sumama kami kay MC when he did his rounds and then we went to the market to buy some stuff for the kiosks and then we bought beer. After dinner, inuman na! There was MC, AA, Alex, and me then later on we were joined by Jojo and Ver. I was actually having fun listening to their stories but AA had to bring up the kulitan topic and it pissed me off. So I just went out for a smoke and stayed there. Then I decided that I’d just go home. Siempre they locked the gate and wouldn’t give me the key. I even woke up TitoPabs but he told me that the key wasn’t with him and I had to wait for Jome to get home. So I did. Grabe. Galit sa kin si AA. He was almost shouting at me telling me stuff like “Kung matalino ka dapat naisip mo yan blah blah blah.” I’ve never seen him angry before, not at me anyway. Ayun I just cried and thought na sana sina DA and AC na lang kasama ko that night instead of him. Then I told him to just go away and leave me alone, but he didn’t. He just kept talking and talking… sinesermonan ako. When Jome came, I was able to go out the gate but they wouldn’t leave me alone. Nakakatawa, it was like we were playing hide and seek around the neigborhood. They kept following me everywhere I go and AA was following me with his car. Si Jome nga natutulog na sa driveways nung mga hinihintuan kong houses. Then I just decided to go back in front of MC’s house. Then nahiga ako don sa car and just waited for them to get tired and go inside the house and sleep but I didn’t succeed. Then I threw my shoe at AA kse iniinis niya ko and what he did was he threw it inside the garage. Then he took my other shoe and threw it inside the garage too. So now I was barefoot. I tried to run and get my shoes but I wasn’t fast enough so they were able to lock me inside the house again. Kaines!

The next day, I woke up early para I could leave na without them bothering me. Siempre naka-lock pa din yung gate and even Jojo and Ver couldn’t go out. So I just went back to sleep. When I woke up, AA still wouldn’t leave me alone. Kinukulit niya ko sobra. I wanted him to go home so I could go home na din but he wouldn’t leave me talaga. Hanggang sa TitoPabs talked to me na and MC asked me to go with him to the grocery. Kaya ayun inabot na kami ng gabi. I fell asleep again and when I woke up nag-aaya na si AA. This time sumama na ko kse mina-migraine na ko. We were both quiet on our way home. And that’s it.

The next day, Wednesday, nag-text ako sa kanya kse naiinis ako sa kanya. We argued a lot hanggang sa we talked na on the phone. Puro away. Hindi niya ko maintindihan and hindi ko din siya maintindihan. Super iniinis ko siya by saying stuff that doesn’t make sense pero hindi ume-effect. I guess that’s what he means by iniintindi niya ko. Parang no matter what I do or say iintindihin niya even if it doesn’t make sense and even if it makes him angry and even if naiinis na siya. Ang issue niya sa kin is still about the kulitan. And he was really expecting me to tell him what’s wrong. Sabi ko nga let’s do something fun and even though I told him I was scared and weak I didn’t mean that we resolve my issues right there and then. Yun ang hindi niya maintindihan. And then inaaway ko siya about dun sa inuman at MC’s place. Sabi ko everything was okay, I was actually enjoying it and having fun but he had to ruin it by bringin up the kulitan issue in front of Alex. Sabi ko if he has issues with me then ako yung kausapin niya and not other people. He told me “Ibang klase ka talaga Buge. A cut above the rest.” I ended up our conversion by asking him to tell me that he want me out of his life and to erase my name na sa phonebook niya. Masunurin naman and he did tell me what I asked him.

Pero siempre hindi ko pa rin siya matiis. I sent him a text message saying “Let’s start all over again. No more dramas. Let’s do what you’ve said before, let’s treat each other as how we feel towards each other. No pretentions.” And he said he like that then I asked him na lang to help me be ok. Then I asked him to go with me to my friend’s party on September 6, we’ll drink (a lot) and meet new people. Bahala na si Batman!

I’m back! Yay! Well, not really yay… I’m back in Manila, meaning, back to reality. I hadn’t taken a rest yet when I got back on Monday night when my sis started telling me neverending stories about my family and how I wished I wasn’t back home yet. Sad! This is why I suddenly went on vacation with AA even though I planned to stay away from him. It was really crazy of me doing that but thought that I really needed that break and even CO agreed with me.

Sunday night, I thought it was okay for me to go online in YM cause AA never goes online on Sundays and his UncleJoe from the US is in town and I thought he’d be busy entertaining him. I suddenly got a message from him asking me if I’d want to go to La Union with them the next next day and would be back Friday. I had to laugh because it was already late and he’d pick me up very early the next day, then be gone for almost a week (not even sure if we’d be back Friday) so I thought he was joking. But he was serious and was waiting for an immediate response. I had no money, only had 4k in my ATM, and still had some unfinished work. But I said yes and thought that the change of environment might do me good since I’ve been feeling so down and depressed lately. Anyway, bago ko maiyak, on with the kwento…

Monday (May 19)
He picked me up at my house at around 7 am. Met UncleJoe for the first time, and his pinay girlfriend, Jess. They had a little chitchat with my dad then off we go. Our original plan was to go to La Union, spend maybe a couple of days there or so, then head off north to Ilocos. AA’s the driver and I was the navigator. We’re guided by my Lonely Planet books and my former editor, Jorge, who’s based in La Union. Traffic was good since it was Monday and everybody’s off to work already, except when we got Urdaneta, grabe, major traffic! And the area was still flooded from typhoon Cosme! Pinasok yung car ng water, buti na lang hindi tumirik! The ride was kinda funny because AA always got sleepy and we couldn’t even sing along with the songs on the radio because we were listening to UncleJoe’s MP3s and we didn’t know the songs. I needed to stop by an ATM pa cause all I’ve got was 500 bucks in my wallet. Every time we’d see BPI, ituturo lang ni AA but he wouldn’t stop saying that he’s not yet sleepy and he’d look again when he gets sleepy. Nangyayari naman every time we passed by BPI, he’s not sleepy so he wouldn’t stop and when he’s sleepy wala namang BPI. I was texting Jorge from time to time to ask for directions and he invited us over to his place for dinner. We got to La Union a couple of hours after lunch. AA went surfing while I took some rest. Then we headed off to Jorge’s place around 5pm. His place is really nice and he cooked Paella and potato salad for us. Natuwa sobra si UncleJoe kay Jorge because he’s really funny and he presented our dinner beautifully talaga. As in he set the table pa talaga as if there was a special event. He wrapped our utensils with the table napkin and tied it down with sequined band and put three different kinds of flowers in each set. He served dinner complete with red wine, canapés for appetizer and fruit cocktail dessert with mango cream on top and then he also prepared fresh green mango juice. After dinner, we headed back to Se-Bay (where we checked-in) and siempre inuman na kami ni AA. They have a resto downstairs, inside the resort and they have also have like a carinderia near the entrance. We had to go back and forth because they were only serving Red Horse in the carinderia. I didn’t count anymore how many beers I had, basta inom na lang ng inom.

Tuesday (May 20)
AA and UncleJoe left to buy breakfast at McDonald’s so I just hanged around the resto with Jess and tried to figure out how to check the balance in Smart Bro. Damn Smart Bro! We spent half of the day trying to figure it out. Jess pa forgot the password and we weren’t able to retrieve it. After breakfast, AA and I went back to San Fernando because McDo gave them only 2 Sausage Mc Muffins when they ordered 4. Then we also bought some load for the Smart Bro and UncleJoe’s cellphone. When we got back to the resort, AA cleaned the car. Grabe energy ni AA, ako ang napapagod sa kanya. When he was cleaning the car, I watched him lang. Natawa pa ko kse nagmamadali siya para daw ndi matuyo yung water. He asked me na banlawan yung isang side while he washed the other side. Bad ko, hindi ko tinulungan kse sabi ko ayaw kong mabasa. Haha! Ang role ko na lang was to turn off the faucet. Medyo malayo kse yung patayan. Haha! He also cleaned the interiors kse nga binaha and nagmo-moist at night and medyo nakukulong yung smell. After that, he went surfing again while I had some beer. Yep, instead of eating lunch, I had beer. They brought down Red Horses in the resto already, got myself two bottles (luckily one was a Happy Horse) then went back inside our room to take a bath and drink my beer. When I was going to return my bottles na, Jess and UncleJoe saw me and joined me in the resto. We took pictures of AA surfing then inuman na. We also invited oursleves to go back to Jorge’s place that afternoon for an early dinner. Before we left I had 5 bottles already kaya ang kulet ko na when we got to Jorge’s. This time he cooked carbonara and we brought some litson manok to go with it. We didn’t stay long because UncleJoe has a back injury and it was hurting already. When we got back to Se-Bay, siempre inom na kami ulit ni AA. After a couple hours of rest, UncleJoe and Jess joined us again. UncleJoe had fun watching us get drunk. Nag-brownout pa. Haha! Nalaseng si Jess and I was the one who took care of her (since ako yung girl) and helped her throw up and brought her back to their room. UncleJoe was thinking “Jess was drunk, B’s taking care of her and she’s drunk too… who’s taking care of B?” So he followed us in their room and kept laughing at us. Haha! I taught Jess how to force throwing up so she’d feel better when she sleeps. I even put a pail beside her bed in case she wanted to throw up while sleeping. Haha! Then I hugged UncleJoe goodnight and went back to AA. Aba ang lolo niyo inaway ako! I forgot na what he said basta nainis na lang ako kse parang nag-alaga na nga ako tapos pagbalik ko parang ako pa yung may ginawang masama. I threatened him that I’d go home that night kaya medyo tumahimik na. I couldn’t remember why niya ko inaway. Basta ang kulet ko daw but I really couldn’t figure out pano ko naging makulet. As in wala talaga kong ginagawa, I just helped Jess. Nung umiyak na ko, he decided we’d better go to sleep na. Takot siguro siya cause he knew I’d really go home alone kahit madaling araw na and laseng ako.

AA laughed at me when I woke up, sobrang laseng ko daw… we just laughed it off pero deep inside I decided to just stay quiet the whole trip. I had at least 10 bottles of Red Horse the night before. I wanted to go jogging but I didn’t bring my shoes so si AA na lang ang nag-jog. After jogging, we went to Mcdo to get breakfast. Change of plan… AA was thinking about the drive home if we were to go to Ilocos Norte… that would be 12 hours and only him driving. So, we just decided to go to Baguio on Friday. I called my friend PS, who is from Baguio, to ask where we could buy some stash. Matagal na talaga kami naghahanap ni AA for UncleJoe. PS was still sleeping when I called, I woke him up and he told AA that he’s clean na for a year. I was like “Huh? What’s wrong? What happened to you?” Haha! He thanked me for the wake-up call cause he was supposed to wake up and go to work anyway. After breakfast AA surfed and then we watched NBA again sa carinderia while drinking beer. In the afternoon, we went to the mall in town so Jess could buy a swimsuit cause she wanted to go surfing. I saw this button pin that says “Shit! Ang baho mo!” Haha! Laugh trip ako sobra! When we got back to the resort, Jess wasn’t able to finish her 1 hour surfing lesson so AA finished her slot and then inuman na naman. Then for dinner, AA and I went back to San Fernando to buy pizza and inihaw na liempo. We walked around the town to look for other food but didn’t find any that looks good. And yes may baon pa kaming beer habang nasa town kami pero we left it inside the car naman. Haha! Natawa pa ko kse we were looking for something different naman for dinner. May naamoy kaming barbecue and hinanap namin but we didn’t find it. So we settled na lang na for the inihaw na liempo. The liempo came with a dip na dugo na parang liver spread yung consistency. First time I saw something like that and tasted it. AA asked the tindero what was it and the mama said it’s “siwsiwan” and we just thought he meant sawsawan. Na-intrigue tuloy ako kung yun talaga yung tawag or mali lang siya. Haha! When we were in the car, AA kept asking me if I was okay. I asked him why wouldn’t I be okay… wala lang daw, baka daw hindi ako okay. And then of course after dinner inuman na naman. I’m telling you… I drank more than I ate talaga. We would have two meals a day only, breakfast and early dinner… it’s up to me na if I wanted to eat lunch or not and I didn’t. It’s always beer! Beer in the morning, lunch, afternoon, dinner, after dinner.

Thursday (May 22)
AA and I went to Mcdo again to buy breakfast… yep, neverending Mcdo and Sausage McMuffins. We also saw this mamang bangka who sold freshly catched fish on the shore. AA bought 3 pieces of milkfish for only P50 and asked the resto to cook it for us. Siempre mas mahal pa yung paluto kesa dun sa bangus. Haha! There was a group of police who was having a conference on the resort kaya medyo we’re stuck on one corner. Nakinood pa kami ni AA ng NBA dun sa store sa kapitbahay because malabo yung cable sa Se-Bay. Lunch time, UncleJoe laughed at AA. There’s this guy kse from the resto, his name is Ed. Actually, night shift siya so he’s there to take care of us pag nag-iinuman. He even witnessed our fight the other night. So while we were having lunch that day, the police conference was on-going. When we were going to order drinks na, AA said he’d take care of it and then shouted “Ed!” Eh di siempre nagtinginan sa min yung mga police. Tawa ng tawa si UncleJoe, and it became a joke na whenever we wanted something, AA would say he’d take care of it and then he’d shout “Ed!” AA didn’t go surfing this time… napagod na siguro. Haha! That afternoon, we watched basketball, again, dun naman sa carinderia upstairs and again inom na naman. Wala nang Red Horse! Then AA and I went back to San Fernando again, this time to buy pineapples and mangoes. We were talking about fruits and UncleJoe suddenly craved for pineapples. He could finish a whole pineapple by himself. So we bought 2 pineapples, 1 for UncleJoe and 1 for the 3 of us. Then we also bought mangoes and also tried to look for tequilla cause Jess said she wanted it. And that’s for dinner, pineapples and mangoes and of course beer. Wala na ding San Mig Pale Pilsen! When AA asked Ed and Ed said na wala na, AA told Ed “Drop and give me 10 push-ups!” Again, naging joke na naman sa min that would last until Baguio. Haha! And since there’s no more Red Horse and San Mig Pale, AA went to the store next door to look for Red Horse. Natawa kami because he was so excited to tell me he got us Red Horse and sa sobrang excitement niya, he forgot that there was a hole on the sand, like a canal, and nahulog siya don. Hindi na sana namin malalaman pero kinwento pa niya. Grabe, sakit ng tummy ko kakatawa. Na-imagine ko lang kse na ang laki-laki niyang tao tapos nalaglag siya don sa hole and he was more concerned not to spill the 2 bottles of Red Horse he was holding. Hahaha!

Friday (May 23)
Mcdo again for breakfast and wala pa ding Red Horse and San Mig Pale… lasang water yung San Mig Light. We just had breakfast, then AA and I took a nap, watched NBA again sa carinderia and then prepared to leave for Baguio.

I think this was the time when AA was still working in Bicol and he was trying to teach us some Bicolano words that he learned. And they wanted AA and me to kiss, so in turn I was kidding CO and AA to kiss. (They’re both guys! Hahaha!) Of course, they did not kiss. Sayang! Hahaha!

So it’s Thursday and we were at MC’s place. But MC wasn’t there yet so we waited a little. When he arrived, he was surprised to see me. And his dad, TitoP, was also surprised and told me it’s been so long since I last went there. I’m already getting used to people asking me the same questions… where have I been and have I been up to. Haha! Our original plan for the day was to drop by MC’s place so AA could take a picture of the kiosk. They’re starting a small business and one of the kiosks is already built and AA wanted to see it so he could reproduce it at home.

So, we ate lunch, and MC’s wife, MrsMC, also went home from work so she could have lunch with us. So tambay lang muna after lunch and we watched a little TV and we planned na sumabay na lang kay MrsMC when she goes back to her office in Ortigas. MC drove her to work and on our way there, MC suggested na wag na kaming umuwi and inuman na lang daw after dinner. Hmmm… AA and I were just both quiet. I really wanted to go home already… imagine, I hadn’t taken a bath yet, I hadn’t brushed my teeth yet (just gargled some mouthwash before leaving AA’s house), I was still wearing the same clothes from the day before, and I didn’t have anything with me. AA also didn’t take a bath before we left his house (but he changed naman na his shirt from the night before, but not his shorts. Haha!). Ang tibay talaga ng damit ko! AA has no problem because he has a bag with a set of clothes, a towel, and a toothbrush. Boyscout eh, laging prepared. Kaines! So, he suggested he’d let me borrow the shirt he’s wearing, then he’ll wear the fresh one on his pack, then we’ll wash the shirt I was wearing. Then the next day, he’ll let me borrow again the shirt he’s wearing and he’ll wear my newly washed shirt. Teka, teka… parang lugi naman ako kse puro fresh shirts yung isusuot niya and mine would be the ones he already wore. Andaya talaga! Tawa lang siya ng tawa. Anyway, MC told me he’d let me borrow a shirt and he’ll give me aa unused toothbrush. My only problem na lang that time is what to tell my dad. I should’ve been home last night and I just sent him a text message that I’ll just go home the next day because it was already late. I couldn’t even call home because we just changed our number and I don’t know what the new one is. Haha!

Ayun, ganon na nga ang nangyari… nagpakita lang si MrsMC sa office sandal then alis na kami. We went to the grocery to buy some stuff for the kiosk then we went to the market to buy dinner. By the time we got back at MC’s place, it was already about 6pm and they started preparing for dinner. After dinner, inuman na!!! Haha! Madami kami, we were joined by MC’s friend and TitoP’s partners. So medyo business related ang conversation that night. Pass naman ng pass yung mga tao so 7 lang talagang umiinom. Then after awhile people started going home already… medyo oldies na kse eh kaya maaga nagsiuwi. And there were only 4 of us left on the table. Then came Ocho (let’s just call him 8 for short). 8 is MC’s childhood friend from the village. AA kept whispering to me that 8 looked sabog. Anway, ayun kwento kwento. I don’t remember anymore what we talked about. Haha! I remember na lang the last part of our conversation, MC was explaining to 8 and JP (MC’s friend also) that I hybernated from the group and he also shared his thoughts about it. Haaay… talaga yatang wala nang katapusan yang topic na yan. I tried naman to explain my side, ewan ko lang kung naintindihan pa ni MC sa kalasingan niya. Basta I’ll post also my conversation with AA in YM and you’ll read more about this conversation and 8, para lang ndi magkadoble-doble post ko. Haha!

AA went to sleep earlier than us, kse daw ubos na yung beer. So, okay sleeping time! Here comes the gorss part… After I don’t know how long, I suddenly woke up, then just sat down on the bed thinking. Then I suddenly felt I wanted to throw up. I just remained there sitting, pinapakiramdaman ko muna sarili ko. Then biglang ayun na! I knew I wouldn’t make it the bathroom (which is just beside the bed, btw), so nung nagsuka na ko, I just pulled my shirt over my face para hindi ako magkalat! Hahahaha! Siempre everything was all over my face and my hair! Kadiri talaga! So what I did was, I just took a bath. Kahit laseng laseng na ko, sige lang! Hahaha! Then I woke up AA so he could help me clean up MC’s shirt. Pabayaan ko na lang daw, okay lang daw yon. Nainis nga ako eh, kse parang walang care. He didn’t ask me if I was okay or if I wanted water or anything.

So the next day when I woke up, I got myself cleaned and prepared to go home already. Gusto ko na talagang umuwi and naiinis ako kay AA. When I got out of the room, he was there. I told him and I’m going home… eh ayun sasabayan pa ko. Bad trip talaga! So anyway, we just waited for MrsMC para sabay na kami on her way to office. MC drove her and we all parted ways in Ortigas. I stopped by Philcoa first before going home to grab a bite because I was thinking that my stomach was empty because I threw up everything and that I’d go straight to sleep when I get home. But wala kong ganang kumain, just took a couple of bites then headed home already. When I went online, AA was also online and here’s our conversation in YM…

Yes, there is such a thing! Haha! DocMR and I are doing cyber drinking right now… I don’t exactly know how to call it. He’s at home drinking and I’m at home drinking too and we are chatting in YM. Haha! I missed this guy! He’s a very good friend of mine. He’s actually AA’s friend who became part of our group. They live in the same village and they are both members of the basketball league of their village. DocMR was also our schoolmate in college pero iba course niya sa min. I remember one time I got drunk and then there’s this guy who laughed at me because I threw up on a drinking glass. I threw up on the glass because I didn’t wanna throw up on the floor and I knew I wouldn’t make it to the bathroom anymore, so ayon sa baso na lang. Hahaha! Gross, isn’t it? Eh wala, laseng eh. Si DocMR hinamon yung guy ng suntukan. Haha! I wasn’t even aware of that anymore because I was too drunk. They just told me about it the next day. I really wouldn’t forget that. Touched ako sobra! DocMR is a really nice guy… super gentleman. I also remember when we climbed Mt. Banahaw in Quezon, he was more concerned about me. Si AA parang walang pakialam.

We haven’t seen each other for about two years now. And now we’re catching up on each other’s love lives. Haha! Ang drama na nga namin eh. Pareho na kaming laseng. Hehe! Wala lang, na-share ko lang!
