My New Playmate

I’d like you all to meet Optimus Prime!

He’s my newest playmate. Just excuse all the cords behind him, I haven’t set him up, yet. I’m still testing him and I’m still transferring files from my old computer to this new one. 100gb worth of files to transfer. And I still have to buy a new computer table, too. A more compact one to make my 6-feet working table fit in my room, too. I’m thinking if I should buy a computer table or just a flat table then I’ll just put the CPU on the floor, on top of a couple of tile garage floors. What do you think?

Lots more stuff to do… I also upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 and Photoshop CS3 to CS6. Then I also have to study this new software for my uncle’s business. And I’m still not done transferring my files! I promised my nephew he can have the old computer by tomorrow, Monday. Good luck me! Haha!

New Toy

I’ve got a new toy!

I claimed my dad’s Kindle since he already has an iPad. This was just lying around in his room collecting dust, so, I adopted it. Haha! I’m going to use it together with my iPod nano to read and listen to a book at the same. Yeah, I have to do both at the same time for me to stay focused and for my mind not to wander off.

I just tried it and well, I can use the Kindle to listen to audiobooks but I can’t read an eBook at the same time. I just have to choose one activity. I can also listen to the audiobook as background music while I read the eBook but I can’t pause it, I’ll have to start from the beginning of the audiobook if I don’t use it for some time. Hence, the iPod.

Now, I don’t have any more excuses why I won’t read a book.

Skullcandy Dub

I’m an earphone breaker. I don’t think I have an earphone that lasted more than a year. Sigh. Anyways, I bought a new pair… the Skullcandy Dub…

… and yes, they’re pink!I bought it for a cheap price. Well, I didn’t actually buy it from a store. It’s my nephew’s spare pair and I bought it from him for only P500.

It’s my first time to try an in-ear headphones and I’m liking it. I like it how I don’t need to put my iPod in high volume just to enjoy my sounds. And I also like how this particular earphones stay in place even when I’m lying down.

Now, let’s see how long this one’s going to last…

Skullcandy Lowrider

I used to have a Nike Vapor for my earphones but one earpiece suddenly stopped working so I bought a new one. I’m not really very particular when it comes to earphones as long as it stays on my ears when I go jogging then that’s fine. Then I bought a Skullcandy Lowrider and found out what I’ve been missing. I’m not even sure if what I bought was an original one. Haha!

I love the sounds coming from it and I also didn’t know that my old cellphone has audio settings. Lol! Now I listen to songs on my phone full-blast, I might need an audiometer soon. Haha! Especially now that I have and iPod! Woot woot! Haha!

Now about the authenticity of the product. I’m not sure if this original or not. I bought it from a famous bookstore here in the Philippines and they even attached a little sticker on it that says that they’re an official distributor. But I got it for a very cheap price and there are a lot of fakes floating around…. I guess I’ll never know huh? Oh well…

iPod

Before the iPhone, I couldn’t decide which I want more, iPod Classic or iPod Touch. I know that the LCD screen of the iPod Touch is much bigger the iPod Classic, but back then, Classic’s capacity is much bigger than Touch’s. But now I’ve decided to save up for iPhone. But… yes, there’s a but… I love, love, love the new square look of the iPod Nano. It’s so cute, isn’t it?

So, now, I’m thinking of getting the iPod Nano first before the iPhone. Haha! It’ll be very useful for me when I’m jogging. It’s more convenient than the bigger and havier iTouch or iPhone.
